Damask rose may improve postmenopausal depression, anxiety and stress

A 2025 study found that 500mg of damask rose 2x daily significantly improved depression, anxiety and stress in postmenopausal women compared to placebo over 8 weeks. Damask rose contains phytoestrogens, which may mimic some effects of estrogen. Damask rose should not be used during pregnancy.
