Spearmint for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

Spearmint may improve hormone levels in polycystic ovarian syndrome

Recent studies have found that spearmint tea significantly decreased free testosterone and increased luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and estradiol in women with hirsutism compared to placebo. The longest duration trial was 30 days. Spearmint may cause acid reflux or other side effects.
