Silvery Wormwood for Functional Dyspepsia
A 2025 study found that people taking a tablet containing 240mg of silvery wormwood (Artemisia argyi) daily had significant improvement in symptoms of functional dyspepsia compared to placebo over 12 weeks. Improvements were noted in bloating, acid reflux, and abdominal pain. Some people may be allergic to silvery wormwood or have other side effects. Plants in the genus Artemisia are not safe for use in pregnancy due to possible uterine contractions.
