Rhodiola for Stress-Related Fatigue

Rhodiola rosea may improve stress-related fatigue

A 2009 study found that an extract from the roots of Rhodiola Rosea significantly improved symptoms of fatigue compared to placebo over 28 days. In this trial, 576mg of the extract was taken four times daily. Morning salivary cortisol also improved in the group taking Rhodiola. Rhodiola may cause dizziness, headache, insomnia or other side effects.
